    If you are interested in Sunday hunting and other issues affecting hunters in Maryland, check out the Maryland Hunting Coalition. Allan Ellis is the driving force in forming this statewide sportsmen's organization. Over ten years ago I was involved in getting one of the last blue laws in Maryland repealed. I sure would hate to see this one slip away because we were asleep at the wheel for the last few years.

    I was unaware that all of my time spent in Annapolis over the past decade fighting for Sunday hunting, all the phone calls made, all the emails sent, all of the time taken off work, all of the public meetings and brutal face to face meetings and encounters with worthless ignorant politicians like Barbara Frush was considered "asleep at the wheel".


    I understand your thinking, but a few of us never went to sleep.

    Point taken....I could have chosen better wording, I guess. I was there too, doing the same as you.....way back when. I was referring to the "fat and happy" syndrome. I feel like it's "déjà vu all over again" with a different bunch of folks.
    I told The MHC that I'd help spread the word about the new statewide org that we need.
