The race for Sheriff in Baltimore County is a situation ripe for DINO action.
The incumbent, R. Jay Fisher, is no friend to gun rights and has a resume touting membership and awards to prove it. He supported FSA2013 and needs to find a new job.
The challenger in the Democratic Primary in June, Ray Boccelli, is a DINO himself, having switched from Republican to Democrat to hopefully improve his chances for election.
I recently asked about Boccelli's stance on the issue of the CSPOA - Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association "Mack Pledge" http://cspoa.org/sheriffs-gun-rights/
This was the response:
The Sheriff race doesn't get nearly as much attention as the state and national contests, so this is a chance for a small shift in the voting to make a big difference.

As a current law enforcement officer, and a retired Major in the United States Army, Ray has taken an oath to uphold and defend the United States Constitution.
Ray is a Constitutional candidate. He is a strong supporter of Second Amendment rights, unlike the current Baltimore County Sheriff. If Ray was Sheriff now, he would have stood beside other Sheriffs in support of our Second Amendment rights last year. It's a shame that Sheriff Fisher doesn't care about the freedoms and liberties of the citizens when it comes to defending themselves.
You can count on Ray to support your right to keep and bear arms. Ray hopes he can count on your support, and the Second Amendment community's support as well.
