I picked up a couple of cowboy guns with holsters, I'm just missing a belt to shoot CAS. Does anyone have a recommendation on a local maker? Even if I don't like CAS  I still want a gunslinger rig. First match is Feb. 4th at the NRA range.

Atlantic Guns in Rockville has gunbelts. You should probably call to make sure they have your size and caliber loops given that this is sort of the off season for cowboy aciton shooting.

http://www.tstarleather.com/holsters.htm These guys are in Berlin, MD. I've seen two of his rigs and they are excellent.

My ace-in-the-hole is a maker in Texas. He's a wealth of knowledge and can make anything you want. You will choose color, style, # of bullet loops, stamping, etc. At a very good price.

What size? I picked up a Ruger Old Army and it came with an extremely nice black leather rig. The only problem is that it's about 6" too big for me. Was going to put it on eBay, but can send you pics if you want to see it. Looks new and unused.

I'm whittling away at my waist but I'm wearing 38" waist pants right now. And sure, send me some pics if it's close!

Tough to say as the only markings are a 45 and 52, but it doesn't seem that big. If I had to guess by holding it up to me, I'd say its about a 40? Probably too big if you're a 38. Wish I knew who made it. I'd try to find another belt or see if I could get it resized.

Thanks for starting the thread though, I will need to find one that fits me and these links look promising.

Aren't they supposed to ride a little lower than your average pants belt? So a slightly larger waist size belt would be the correct size.
