Ken Ulman admitted to the Baltimore Sun that his soda ban was unreasonable, and had backed off of it by "generously" allowing you buy sodas at county sponsored events that are not on county property. Basically, this allows people to buy soda at the Fourth of July fireworks display at the lake in Columbia.

Also, like a true libtard, Ken Ulman wants to set up a committee made up of blow hards from Health Department, Department of Recreation and Parks, Department of Citizen Services and Office of Purchasing to make sure his food and drink policy is implemented and to "help" vendors who want to "diversify" their menu.

I have not consumed soda in decades, and unlike Ken Ulman I am not fat, but even I find this type of nanny state regulation to be un-American and downright disgusting. God/Buddah/Allah/etc. help us all if he becomes Lt. Governor.

I cannot adequately express how angry this entire stupid fiasco of the food police has made me. The county can put cat food in their snack machines for all I care; that's their business. BUT when they try and force a private business with a lemonade stand at the fireworks festival to sell what they deem fit for consumption, its just mind boggling.

Here he is welcoming the new Maggiano's in Columbia.

When they want to limit my choices, it is mind boggling. However, they have sort of done that with firearms, alcohol, tobacco, and explosives via regulation and taxes. Ironic, everything the BATFE deals with. lol

Pretty soon it is going to be BATFEF
Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, Explosives, and Food

Ah yes, The Adventures of Ulman in Libtardland. On and on it goes. Next up is probably a taxpayer funded million dollar ad campaign featuring break dancing V8 juice bottles. The Coca Cola polar bear undoubtedly gets a time out for being a bad bear, and cowers in the corner.

WTF is wrong with these people? Gotta absolutely love the priorities of these idiots in government.
