Volunteers are needed for 2A Tuesday

Followed By Speaking with your representatives/delegates

We need your help and support to make 2A Tuesday successful!

We would ALSO like to invite you to join one of our 2A conference calls (or Web X meetings).
Volunteer Details:

1) Volunteers needed to staff the various organization tables: to hand out fliers; offer details on joining the various 2A organizations; lobbying benefits of each org.; and the ‘force multiplier effect’ that joining multiple orgs has on influencing Delegates and Senators as the orgs lobby for their membership. (If possible, volunteers will bring Tablets.)

2) Team Leaders: volunteers to serve as TL’s to guide small groups around to the various County delegations to visit Delegates and Senators. TL’s will also help instruct citizens on how to email, write letters, and make phone calls to stay connected with Legislators during the Session and after.

3) Make a plan to Speak to your Delegates/Senator: use this links to find out what District you live in, and who your three Delegates and one Senator are. … http://mdelect.net/

4) Call them. Make appointments to visit them in their offices in Annapolis, or in your District. Please inform us of your possible or confirmed meetings Events@MarylandShallIssue.org

The agenda of Web X & Conference Calls: Discuss 2A Tuesday Goals, formalize volunteers roles, review ideal methods for team leaders & citizens to use when speaking with representatives/delegates on legislative issues.

Same meeting is being held 7x to allow folks to join into the call with different work schedules

12:30 PM-3:00 PM Join Team Leaders & lobby your Representatives & their Aides

Meet your Delegates and Senators, and make your presence and pro-2A position known, especially to the newly elected members of the Maryland General Assembly.
