On piston guns the block is sometimes referred to as a manifold instead of a gas-block.

The wood furniture is a good look. How do you like it? I've never looked for wood furniture before - are there multiple sources? Does one work better than the other?
Is the A2 stock hollow to accept weight?

I was going to chop the fsb and go with a longer rail, but decided against it.
Removed a cheap magpul moe hand guard, loving how it looks with the free float behind the fsb.
With that di-optic rear and fsb, has an awesome sight picture.
I have a some lowers waiting to be built, so I can go with a long rail and no fsb on those future builds. Or not, and build more pistols

Glad I kept the fsb on this one.
I took off the FSB on my 10.5'' Who knows, maybe some day I might get a wild hair and build it back into a CAR 15. One never knows the future.
