Yeah, Mossberg seems reinvigorated with the MVP Scout, MVP Patriot, and now Patriot bolt action rifle lines. The first two are appealing as they use AR-10 or AR-15 magazines depending on rifle caliber, and now with the Patriot line, they're offering even more calibers and the price point is very attractive.

I'd love to see some side-by-side reviews comparing the Mossberg Patriot rifles to the Ruger Americans at some point. Do wonder if this is an introductory roll out discount by Kentucky Gun Company on the Patriots, as no-one else is selling them this low ($400 for a new Walnut Stock rifle in a deer caliber with a reasonable quality Vortex optic is pretty amazing).
