LA Police Gear has the Operator backpack and I was thinking about going that route for a BOB/GHB.

A smallish sling pack is probably not the best option for a BOB.
It could work as a get home bag though.

I picked up one of those large used Military Surplus backpacks with the frame for a BOB. I think it was like 40 or so. It is a BIG pack and can hold a ton of stuff. Lots of pockets to boot.

Cool bag, but I don't thing single sling is the way to go if you plan to carry it for awhile...
