The left is going to lose DEMOCRAT votes if they keep talking about gun control.
Just like they're going to lose votes if they keep talking about wiping out the coal industry.
There are oodles of blue collar democrats out there that won't support the socialists.
What the Right needs to do is explain this and invite them into our tent. And the Right needs to run anti-Left commercials on pro-Left TV channels.

As I posted in the Bloomberg/Obama executive action thread, Hillary is seeking to classify private sellers that sell a few guns a year as gun dealers. Might sound good to her voters in the primaries and give her something to counter punch O'Malley with, but I think even Obama wouldn't try anything as hairbrained and open to immediate court challenge as this.
Since face to face gun sales in the same state do not fall under interstate commerce, what pretext will she use to regulate them? The old "guns that move in interstate commerce" excuse used by the Feds?

But just this morning hilldawg was saying Republicans were politicizing the deaths of 4 Americans in coming after her for benghazi. I guess it's OK for her to politicize anyones deaths she wants though

I dont understand why she is trying to cater to small groups of people that wont have much of an effect on the election. i.e pro gays, immigrants, pro gun control etc.
Im not complaining though, if she keeps it up she wont have a chance.

My money is still on her dropping out for "Medical" or "Domestic" reasons.

They used the Interstate Commerce Clause to regulate wheat production on a farmer who was growing wheat for his own in-farm consumption. So there was no "interstate" and there was no "commerce". Didn't matter; he lost the case at the Supreme Court and ever since the Federal Government has used that ruling to justify any number of Federal intrusions, sadly.
Just wait until we find out the real relationship with Houma...
Hillary's self destruct mechanism is set. The only thing left is the timer sequence.
As for her stance on guns...GO FOR IT... Don't think the IAAFF are the only ones who are bailing.

I won't miss her. But I am understandably leery of Bernie... That fella borders on being unAmerican in soooo many ways.
