We sold this one for $1700, seems to be about the going rate on Gunbroker. Luckily the buyer lives in Va, so they get it faster than us lowly Mders...

Also understand there is a semi carbine variant in the works for civilians, in addition to the already shipping pistol variants and SBR.

Yup. Sig always told us that pistols and SBRs would ship first, but that took a bit longer than expected, so I have no idea on timeline.
