Is there a reason why the 3 republican candidates in my district (15) wouldn't be rated? (they aren't even listed)

No idea. I will try to find out.
Found out why - these are for the primary race. If the district is a 3-seat district and there are three or less contenders for the party primary, they did not provide ratings. They will provide ratings for the general election, based on the number of folks on the final ballot.

This is my understanding as well.

For those interested in data points, the NRA Political Victory Fund has published their endorsements for the upcoming primary races - http://www.nrapvf.org/grades-endorsements/2014/maryland.aspx.

Any idea why, when I put in my address does it say District 10 Senate, District 15 House? I had to manually update the URL to say 10 and 10. Am I missing something?

And, I upated the district 10 page, but we already knew who would get an F. I updated district 11 page.

The link showed all MD - http://www.nrapvf.org/grades-endorsements/2014/maryland.aspx

    Thanks for the quick update.

I do wonder how the NRA was able to rate Bennett Rushkoff (who seems to have no solid info on his 2A stance) but not Fraiser-Hidalgo (who has been in office for several months) I suppose they could have contacted both individuals and only received a response from Bennett Rushkoff.

No clue - don't work for the NRA, just happened to be involved in the Lock & Load episode last night where Shannon discussed the list (and when the links went live on the website in the midst of our discussions).

Per Shannon's discussion - the ratings are dependent upon the return of a completed survey. If the Senator/Delegate/Candidate did not return a completed survey, they did not get a rating.

Very interesting that there are some candidates on that endorsement document who are floating around here to try to drum up support but couldn't be bothered to return the survey.

That is a bit odd. I wonder if the NRA-PVF is still being updated, if there was a paperwork mixup, or something else...

    Nice! thanks!!

Here is my update on the delegate situation in D28.

John Coller (D) avoided my question completely about protecting myself outside the home
Sally Jameson (D) she is not our friend. No new news here
Candice Kelly (D) she did not repsond to any of my emails but I know here stance does not favor us from when she was a County Commisioner
Edith Patterson (D) no response yet
CT Wilson (D) as we already know he is on our side
Jime Crawford (R) no response yet

NRA-PVF has Jameson as an "A-" rating. Why is it that you say she is not our friend?

I have been filed since last March. I never received a survey.

Dwyer put forward an amendment to SB281 that would have removed a number of firearms from the banned list. Olszewski voted against it.

Not sure about this list of endorsements.

Thanks for the update. Sorry to hear you did not receive the survey.

Thanks for the info on the Dwyer Amendment. I dug up the link to that vote - http://mgaleg.maryland.gov/webmga/f...b=subject3&id=SB0281,h-0855&stab=02&ys=2013rs

That amendment looks like it was an attempt to move the list of the 45 guns banned by name. Why, I am not sure. Since it was Dwyer's, it is safe to assume it was 2A-frinedly :) The votes against it implicate other legislators who ultimately voted against FSA, so I will be documenting those votes! This type of research has been on my TODO list for a long time...

The NRA-ILA rep for MD just posted a thread about the NRA-PVF issues (http://www.mdshooters.com/showthread.php?t=152422). You may want to reach out to her directly (information in the thread) if you are interested in completing their survey forms.

Thanks! For now, I will put those on hold so I can look into the FSA amendment votes.

I started to dig into the votes on amendments to FSA that were rejected and am finding ones that conflict with both the final vote and seemingly the NRA-PVF ratings. Specifically: Beidle, Jameson, Bohanan
Also - not voting / absent on some: Bohanan, Wilson

Ok I just switched to DEMOCRAT (DINO) and getting my bearings. When people say district, which district are they talking about?

Heres my voter notification card info: LEG 08, CONG 02, COUN 006, Prec 1413.1

    What district am I?

And why did I get switched to a new polling place? Boumi Temple... Each polling place is for a specific party?

And who are the DINO candidates I need to vote for in order to change this SB281 crap?
