I know there are some other PCP shooters out there and thought I would share my findings on a Chinese compressor I bought recently. Some of you may of seen these before and I have heard mixed reviews but so far I am pretty happy with the one I bought. I have been wanting to get a home...
I just bought a .45 Texan SS. I really like this gun and it is accurate, 1" groups at 50 yards with a 250 grain pill, and quiet. Anyway, I am planning to use this for deer hunting since it meets the MD requirement. To those who shoot big bore, is a 250 grain hollow point sufficient? I have...
I received an email from Associated Gun Clubs of MD. It had a ranking of the candidates however, I can't open it. Does anyone have a listing of the candidates and how they relate to gun issues? Are there any other issues on the ballet than need be addressed?
Just like to stay apprised of...
My truck has developed a small tic in the front right bank of a 4.6 L V8. It only does it for about 30 seconds then goes away. Engine still makes good power but is off about 1 mpg. It might be a small exhaust leak that goes away as the engine warms but not sure. Might be a damaged Ox sensor...
Gents,
I have a Mark 1 and the roll pin for the rear sight is lost. I found one on line but the part is $1.50 and shipping is $10. Does anyone know where to get a Rear Sight Pivot Pin locally?

I was on another site yesterday and saw that the Senate voted this past weekend, 53 to 46 against accepting the UN Gun Ban treaty. Did I miss this on here? Maybe I am just out of date or did the vote happen.
Just trying to stay informed.

My wife and I are talking about selling our house. Was planning to move to Fallston or parts north of there. Since MD is going down the crapper fast I wanted to know what you all think of PA. I like Lancaster County but have had a friend say that the Illegals have taken over a lot of that...
A buddy of mine sent this to me. I thought it appropriate for us with the fight we are in. It makes many salient points.
I didn't see it anywhere else but if in error please remove.

Gents/Ladies,
My son just turned 9 and he likes to shoot. He likes his Cricket 22 and my Marauder 22 air rifle. I had mentioned shooting targets and such but I don't know if he would be that interested in that now. However, I think he might like shooting the small silhouettes. Are there...
I know there is a sticky on this, but I just wanted to say I did pull the trigger. Hope it is as good as they say. I bought a 550B. Most say just to go whole hog but I want mine for loading rifle cartridges and have much of the other gear already. Since I got the basic press I was able to...
Just wondering if anyone needed some varmint control done? I have an 8 year old son who likes to shoot and whacking some critters (rats, pigeons, starlings, groundhogs, etc.) is a great way to stay sharp. I have an air rifle for close hunting/barns and such. I live in Middle River and...
Gents,
I got a line on a Browning A-bolt shotgun for what I think is a good price. With a rifle trade I can get it for about $300. It is the older 1997 issue but near pristine condition. Is it worth buying? I have been wanting a real slug gun for a long time and I hear they shoot well...
Gents,
Wondering if anyone here has suppressed a .44 Rem Mag carbine. I know a guy in TX that uses them for hunting hogs at night. He shoots a 300 grain bullet around 1000 fps. Sounds like it could be a great weapon for whacking hogs and such. Just wondering.
Regards,
Vic
By nature I am a hunter, its not what I do but who I am. Anyway, after the Silencer shoot (great time) I was wondering whether MD allows hunting with suppressed weapons. I understand deer is a no no, but what about squirrels and such. I was thinking about a can for thumping squirrels. With...
Wasn't sure where to put this but thought it interesting.

Why they say hunters I am unsure, but it is a good read. This guy at Idaho National Labs who shoots competitively came up with a new sight...
Just found out that one of my nephews was run over about 3 months ago. I think it was in or around Druid Hill park. The story I hear is that he was coming home from a fight, He is into ultimate fighting, and was drug into a car window and drug down the street. When he pulled out he was run...
I have been trying to find Accurate powder at reasonable prices. To have it shipped to me, 1 lb container, would cost nearly $50 once you add in shipping and hazmat fees. Just wondering if you all have a local source.

I have a Remington Scoremaster and have done some work on it. Cut rails in the top for a scope, etc... The gun is quite accurate and has done a number on the local critters. The one thing that annoys me is the trigger. Does anyone know how to smooth out the trigger and maybe drop it a few...
