Yes, you can get a transcript for a fee. It will probably only read "thump...thump...thump" from the sound of the rubber stamping of the letters.
You can see what I wrote about my phone conversation here: http://www.mdshooters.com/showthread.php?t=156663&page=4
I called this morning and spoke to Ms. Goodman about the denial letter that I received this week and asked why I didn't get a chance to have a hearing. She stated (what I already knew) that the board has the option of conducting a hearing or perform a review.
I stated the facts that 1)...
I got home from travel today and read the letter in my own hands. Just out of curiosity, was everyone else's letter dated July 17, 2014?
I called the number which went to the voice mail of a Jean Goodman. I left a message but never got a returned call (no surprise there).

I am on travel for work and my wife calls me telling me I got a letter from the state. Sure enough it was a denial letter by the HPRB. I was under the same impression that I was supposed to be able to testify. I have already written 3 additional letters requesting an update on my appeal. Needles...
Well they broken the 90 law a couple-a-few times with my appeal! :mad54:
Who has ever been contacted for a review board hearing? How were you contacted? Phone..Mail?
I requested a hearing last year and have sent 2 letters since wanting to know the status of getting my appeal hearing.
I also appealed to the HPRB back in July and haven't heard or received anything from them. I just sent another certified letter with signature of receipt requesting what actions have ot have not been taken on my appeal. It was delivered and signed for on Jan 2, 2013. We'll see if anything...
Exactly the point! So for each day they don't have an application/process available to be filled out, 30 days in advance, they should push back the date that a HQL is required.
If the state is allowed to take 30 days to perform the background checks and issue the HQL then everyone should be rallied at every MSP barrack in the state demanding their HQL applications to fill out on September 1st!
I was hoping they might sit on our applications but it doesn't appear they are going to. I had my informal review in Pikesville on July 5th and received my denial letter yesterday.
On to the HPRB, I will go!
