      MD Bear Hunting 2015

      Seen a small bear right at dark . We are trying to hold high standards this year , and their just wasn't enough daylight left to size it up properly . But being we had to really look hard to see if it was big , my 13yo son decided to pass . Gotta say it really made me feel good to see him...

      Oh Yea ! I'm getting pumped . Weather is looking to be pretty good for bear movement . A 300-400 lb bear was spotted friday by the landowner whose land were hunting .. He sent me a CellPhone pic . Said it layed down for a short rest before moving on.

      My oldest smoked this 7pt this evening .. 175 Yd shot with the T/C Pro Hunter. Not bad for a 13yo .. Both my boys tagged out , now its time for me to go after a big boy.

      My boys and I will be out . Cameras are picking up bears every day so far.. Gonna sit n the same stand we set up last year . Hopefully my oldest son can fill the tag this year . Good luck to all the other Hunters out Monday

      My lil guy got his first buck this evening ! 8pts and about 125 lbs . Used a T/C Pro Hunter .. Perfect heart shot at 50 yds

      According to the Harry Spiker , This is only the second set of 5 cubs he has ever seen.. The first set was a den survey in March of this year ... 60 miles away ..

Were hoping for my oldest son to get one .. Anyway ... We are gonna hunt on the same private lease again this year . But , i have a sweet spot...

      This is exactly what i have , But this gets worse . I had the local gunsmith bed my rail to the receiver ... Now i'm 14.3" high at 100 yds. and out of adjustment . Gonna pull this scope off and put on one of my Nikons . If i can zero one of them , I'll be making a call to Vortex . Had no idea...

      The plate is at the shop ready to be cut . Had a big goodyear job and their was about 30 sheets that needed to be cut before my project . I will update once they are cut . Also i updated the pricing . Its material cost + cut fee charged by the shop . No extras ! I will be cutting these on my own...

      I just ran into the same problem today with my EGW 20 moa base . Still 4.5" high at 100 yds and out of adjustment with a Vortex Viper HS . Not sure what my options are to fix this ? I'm using the lowest rings that will fit .....

      PSA AR10

      I have a Nikon M-308 on my Black Rain Ordnance. $500 and came with a 1 piece base . Its one of 5 Nikon scopes i own and i couldn't expect more out of them .The BDC is easy to use with the Nikon Spot on app . Can figure any load and get the exact yardage for each dot .

      The Official AR308 Picture Thread (yes, AR10's welcome too)

      Yes i did ! should of read up on the scope base tho . Took 4 rounds to even get it on the paper. Here the M-308 base has a 20 moa tilt .. But i got it zeroed it at 100 yds .. I absolutely love it !
