I would have given him Positive (+10) if it were an option. It was nice to meet you Paul. Thanks for the shotgun and for meeting me halfway. I would not hesitate to do business with you again. It was a great transaction all the way around. If you ever have anything to sell in the future shoot me...

      Problems with new FNP9

I vote for contact FN first. See what they say. Dissassemble and clean. New mags second. Let someone else fire the weapon. Different ammo, maybe. If not, back to the mfg.

Opinions on THIS shotgun for HD?

I vote for a 500 or 870 model as well. You want it to go bang for sure in HD mode.

Lookin' Down Another Barrel at Elk Neck, 11/5/10

I go to Elk Neck maybe 4 times a year. When I roll up I've always communicated with the people on the line already that I'm here and let me know when the range is cold. And I always communicate when the range is hot again, sometimes to surprised looks. Sue me, I'm ex military. There's a right...

      Gerber LMF II

Got my ASEK LMF II today. Very Nice the case and all the straps that come with it are kinda clunky, but the knife feels good. Nice blunt force weapon as well as a sweet cutting edge. Hve to run it through some paces.

      Gerber LMF II

Anyone got some time with a Gerber LMF II? I have an old BMF that's been good to me...looking for a smaller survival knife, I like what I've seen about them.

Two and a half years later...

I've done alot of damage with a steak knife...I like the look, very clean. If they hold an edge and have nice balance that's what counts in my mind.

      The Official AR-15 Picture Thread

Bottom is built off of a DPMS lower and upper with a Bushy 14.5" barrel with a double Y comp pinned and welded to bring it to 16" They all look nice fellers, but this one's my favorite!

      Got the M1a Scout

My buddy got one a year ago, don't tell his wife. We took it to Elk Neck on a Friday morning. Some Marines were there having a "training day" i.e. goofing at the range. After about 5 minutes they had all wandered over and wanted a try. He put an Eotech sight, I believe a 512 on it and it is...

Best Way to Prepare and Cook Deer Meat

This marinade is great for pretty much any cut. It's fantastic with the backstraps. -1/4 C olive oil -2 Tbsp soy sauce -2 Tsp Montreal Steak seasoning Cut the meat into 1/4" to 1/2" thick slices to make small medallions. You can do this with a roast too, just try to trim any silverskin...

OK. FNP 9mm, XDM 9mm or MnP 9mm...

I was raised on 1911's. Wasn't comfortable with the grip and/or trigger safety. I was debatin' on an FNP9 or an M&P9 and a deal on an XD9 came up (thanks Cpl Corned Beef!). One can debate safeties all day, but after several hundred rounds through the XD9, I don't miss a thumb safety or a...
