      Turkey Opener (anyone do any good)

      I was out yesterday morn below Edgewater. Didn't hear a single bird. Saw 1 a couple hundred yards down the holler, wouldn't respond to calls, and I know they carry that far, it was dead quiet. Maybe a hen or jake, or just didn't want to play.

      Probably not a big deal to some, but I just finished my first ever lower build. Took me about 2 hours with no special tools. Much easier than I had first thought. My upper will be here Tuesday, I'll post pics and specs when it arrives.

      I smelt on a Coleman stove with a 2 quart stainless Revere pot. Yes, it used to be copper bottomed but... Bought at Goodwill for 2 bucks so it don't owe me a thing. I use a spoon with holes drilled thru to snag the clips, flux 2 or 3 times, then pour my ingots. Works like a champ for me. For...
