Just doing a bit of online gun 'shopping' and I stumbled upon J&G's type 56's. Has anyone gotten one of these recently from J&G?? I know my share of SKS knowledge, but am just looking for reviews of their current stock of them. I'm not looking for a pristine type 56 but a decent looking one...
Picked one of these beauties up back in March for $599.95 shipped right to my door from AIM. Have always wanted one. All numbers matching except for the magazine floor-plate. Shes a 1943 Izzy. Now my question to those who are more knowledgeable is, how can I tell if at one point in time this...
Tell me, what do I have here. I've done a bit of research and have found out a bit. The magazine is missing but I was able to fire 10 rounds. Bore looks pristene. By the looks of the pictures, could someone give me an appraisal?
As the title says, Im in the market for a CZ-82. Im looking for one for a shooter but I also don't want one that has a horrible loss of finish and an extra magazine is always a plus. I've been eyeballing the ones that AIM has and they look to be in pretty good condition with lil finish wear...
So, my C&R just came in today after mailing it out in late March and im psyched. I've been eye-balling the Romy Tokarevs, anyone know of a satisfactory online dealer that carries them?? Im new to all the fancy C&R stuff so any and all help/ any online deals would be greatly appreciated. :D
So, I read in the manual that my Springfield 1911 is able to handle +P ammo, I just wanted any first hand experience from you good folks. Make and model are Springfield 1911A1 Mil-spec and the ammo is Hornady .45auto +P 200gr TAP FPD. Would it be ok to use that type of ammo??
Since I've seen very many nice Mauser rifles on here (Specialy Clandestine's Yugo M48) I thought it would be nifty to make a thread dedicated to such a fine bolt-action.
No other bolt-action in my opinion is finer then the authentic German made Mauser K98k.
I decided on my next purchase I wanted something modern instead of my usual C&R. Now dont get me wrong but when I was first shown the 1911 model back in 05, I really wasnt impressed until I first started learning more about firearms in 07. Now that I know as much as I do, I settled on my first...
I don't know if anyone has the same issues as I do with storing some C&R guns but sometimes mine tend to start to rust a bit. I store all my long guns with a coating of RemOil and in a gun sock. My hand gun I store also with a coating of RemOil and wrapped in a hand towel or old shirt. Any and...
I was down HNP earlier today for the first time and as soon as I walk in, theirs a Walther P-38 from the war. I have searched high and low for one of these and finally found it. My question is, would it be ok to use factory new ammo in a gun that is most nearly 70 years old??
The walmart here in dundalk has the Winchester 40 round boxs of .223 55gr for like $30 some dollars. They had about 10 boxs when I was their last night picking up the last box of 7.62x39s. Get'em while ya can!
