      CMP M1 Special

      Congrats. I just received my service grade a few weeks ago. I have not had the chance to get it to the range yet but I also bought the Greek ball ammo. IMHO CMP is the way to go for a Garand. With the exception of having to de-cosmoline the rifle, it was in remarkably good condition.

      HRA M1 Grand

      I received my service grade from CMP a couple of weeks ago. It is an HRA. The barrel, receiver and bolt are HRA. The trigger group is SA. There are no markings on the furniture. I will be spending some quality time with at the range tomorrow shooting the Greek surplus ammo I purchased with it.

      Nice start to your C&R collection. What to get next? I would highly recommend picking up a CZ-82 while they are still cheap. I believe they can still be had for around the $200 mark and they are well worth the money.
