@ASTC - I need your assistance:
I was in your class this weekend. Showed up on time yesterday and completed all aspects of the class.
I went back in today and arrived prior to class start time, and the entire parking lot was full. A few people came out of the range, but their parking spaces...
So.. I have a couple of pre-ban PSA lowers (purchased in Aug 2013)...
I'd like to pair one of them with a Colt 6720 Socom upper - is it legal to buy said upper and build this out?
I seem to be finding conflicting info on whether it's okay to still procure uppers that arent stamped HBAR...
Probably a dumb question.... but I did a cursory search and didnt see it answered.
Very interested in buying a Mossberg 530 Tactical... but before I pull the trigger, what is involved now. I can't keep track of our dumb gun laws. Is this a unregulated gun, or would I have to to wait for...
Thanks much!
I took it back out to the range today. Put 150 rounds through it. No problems at all.
One side note - the Texas Weapon System Rail with the peep sight on it is a major improvement over both the stock RPK sight and the Mojo I put on after it.
Shot the best groups I ever...
I took it out to the range again today... only put 50 rounds through it.. no failures this time. Seemed to be cycling better. I did get a Texas Weapon Systems Dust cover rail kit, and part of the install is putting on their guide wire and spring retainer... gonna take it back out and try putting...
I did try this... and the rounds fly a long way... mind you when I have this issue... It happens about once a range trip... usually between 60 and 100 rounds in. Never happens twice in a row.
Resurrecting this dead thread... I'm back to looking at the M+M again... I know they have a very good rep, I just have had problems with this one. I have 3 AR's, including one with over 4K rounds of all kinds through it and almost literally no issues ever... and it's a franken AR built with...
I know... but the amount of issues I've had with it... simply amazing. And my bargain basement AR has been through easily 4K rounds with 1 Fail to Feed which was a funky led-free 50 grain federal round with a weird shaped tip. Actually out of all my guns this one is the only one I have with any...
I have the go/no-go gauges - but really would like to avoid getting another bolt unless it cannot be avoided. I plan to go to the range Friday, Ill try that, but I don't recall alot of movement with the mags the last time.
