      Powder coating

I always wondered if a static powder coating gun will produce "perfect" results. The base will be exposed, but it wouldn't matter too much on GC casts.

Phishing Alert: Regarding Natchez Shooting Supplies

Myns was an ebay seller I did not recognize. Definitely a scam/phish.

Phishing Alert: Regarding Natchez Shooting Supplies

      Yep...sounds about right.

      Powder coating

I have since moved on to Sherwin Williams red pc I got on ebay for a bargain. It works well, but I noticed I get more bare spots than usual, mainly along the surfaces the casts stick along to and along surfaces contacting the wire basket, so this PC is more suitable for standing them up upright...

      Powder coating

Is that Eastwood limegreen? I liked it because it applied sufficiently thin for my purposes. I had issues in the past where if the pc is applied too thick, it started to change the ogive profile of the bullet...the lee 312/160/2R has a pretty thick ogive already and I prefer a thin coat. My...

      Powder coating

I been rolling and rubbing a plastic container i got from the dollar store along a carpeted surface to gain static charge. I keep my powder coat in a smokeless powder jug. I also always add a bit of fresh powder coat into the excess mix whenever I do a batch it seems to help with "priming" the...

What did you do at your reloading bench today?

I did another 600 rounds of 9mm on the lee 6pp this night. Ammo cans are filling up nicely.

      Yes.

      No more powder

Shouldn't Latin Countries start stepping up to the plate to cover the cotton/gunpowder shortages? Last I checked, cotton grows in in semi-arid, and sub-tropical locations...I guess their too busy with their profitable cartel drug cash crops and markets...

Yet another post on what AR to buy...

i just learn about them from the drama they entail

What did you do at your reloading bench today?

I got the dedicated 9mm lee six pack progressive press dialed in nicely. With the added 3d printed motorized bullet collator and seating system, I can casually crank out 9mm with ease in 100 round batches until I need to refill the components. I had an almost perfect progressive 100 round...

Yet another post on what AR to buy...

I'm quite happy with my first ever AR purchase back in 2013. It was a MD compliant ruger AR556. Times have probably changed, and there are probably better options out there, but I did nothing but put some optics on it (a romeo 5), magpul moe furniture, and an alg (when they were being made by...

      Lubing Lee REAL bullets?

I took the ML's out last Saturday. It seems like the dip lubed 50 cal lee REALs on the traditions hawkens flintlock performed worst vs. The dip lubed 45 lee REALs out of the jukar 45 (it was the latter from the last range trip). I was getting better groups using crisco with the 50 cal REALs...

Thoughts on The Lee Six Pack Pro Kit

No problemo, feel free to reach out, I been working on getting automated bullet and case collators on the lee six pack pro, and maybe a low primer sensor alarm.

      AGC Spent Brass Lock Boxes

They should at the very least offer the brass at scrap price, or do a trade in program, pound for pound. I am more than happy to part out my brass junk (spent primers, 22lr cases, damaged/rejected brass) for range brass. I would also be very interested in they sold and offered lead scrap from...

Thoughts on The Lee Six Pack Pro Kit

I guess one critical flaw (but servicable) is how the carrier is attached to the ram. I was trimming 308 cases with the mark 7 power trim xpress on the reconditioned lee 6pp, and the whole carrier separated from the ram (probably why this press was returned to lee to begin with). Granted, this...

Thoughts on The Lee Six Pack Pro Kit

You're welcome, I also got to mention that there is a soft indexing rod and a standard indexing rod. The soft indexing rod is great for 9mm or short cases susceptible to powder spillout. The standard indexing rod is good for longer cases, i.e. 308/30-06. As for ergonomics, inline makes a nice...

Thoughts on The Lee Six Pack Pro Kit

It's perfectly fine to run pre-primed and processed brass. You can easily remove the primer slider if it's not in use. I personally like the priming system so much that I just run processed brass through it to save time. For 9mm, I run inspected cases (cull out the stepped and berdan cases) as...

Thoughts on The Lee Six Pack Pro Kit

Yes it's a great budget press and I really like it. Full disclosure, I loaded on a long line of lee presses from the lee turret, lee auto breech lock pro, the lee loadmaster, and the lee app's, so I am well versed and invested in lee products (i'm a Lee fanboy). It's the first lee progressive...
