Need To Replace Beretta Slide 92 SB-F Help?

But otherwise yes, Brownell and other folks online have slides if it does indeed need it. Even better one of our IPs, like Scott's Gunsmithing in Glen Burnie, may be able to take a look if the Manufacturer's sign off isn't a warm fuzzy enough. Take a look at the spring. Several thousand rounds...

Any one CC with empty chamber?

Empty chamber while CCing? I only do with wheel guns when I'm off-trail. (Some are old, some are 'safer' but I'd rather not risk it if I fall, etc.) Empty slider is an angry slider and needs extra attention to get warmed up before you can *bang*. You do you though and have a designated dry-no...

      Going Gangster

Most of my LEO acquaintances I have informally polled over the years about this would give the initial 'benefit of the doubt' a little higher if someone in plain clothes had their gun in a holster. Most yahoos don't use holsters or well fitting ones for the firearm. Personally I like it to stay...

      Air Traffic Controller jobs

Several controllers I know are private pilots, which can sometimes help when they are in either role. Otherwise when the pilot screws up, the pilot dies. When the controller screws up, the pilot dies. Lots of stress indeed.

New bill proposed in AA County

The clowns that keep introducing garbage like this are breaking the moral 'laws' as we know them. Making other things illegal out to be illegal.

Leah Barrett Resigns from Ceasefire MD

More like 1995...but yeah. Coincidentally, that was the year my new-to-me (2nd owner) car came with an 8 track. I too learned the secret of the half-matchbook. Although I wonder what folks with them do now - 3d print a wedge?

Accurizer Kit for Ruger Mark IV

Much of a Ruger MK series pistol 'accuracy problem' can be fixed by different ammo. I have seen 'several serial numbers apart', and therefore presumably made by same people at around the same time with the same tooling, pistols get dramatically different group sizes by switching ammo. One of my...

ATF: Pot Users Can't Legally OWN Firearms Regardless Of State Laws

Ask for CBD and ensure it's not a 'high CBD' product - a ratio of CBD:THC that some patients helpful and will cause a positive urinalysis. There are several vet-owned places online as well.

ATF: Pot Users Can't Legally OWN Firearms Regardless Of State Laws

My point was fees in permits was reason #1 alike.

ATF: Pot Users Can't Legally OWN Firearms Regardless Of State Laws

Fees. And hopefully scare the ones not getting the permits to do the work correctly....yeah, I heard in my head how dumb that sounds too.

      Steel Target Safety

There. Fixed it. Some folks drive $2k+ tuned match guns. I have several out of the box RIA 1911s I take to Bullseye matches in case somebody needs to use one. Fixed sights. Stock everything. Issued ammo. While challenging, it's only hard if you think too hard about it. You nor target is moving...

Interesting Swiss Experimental Camo Item Found Today

Does this sound like a typical competitive match to y'all?

Well, a member here with the username fa18hooker won the National Rifle match at Camp Perry a couple years back. So yeah, some Squids know a couple things. I have seen Cornhole being played between relays at matches as a nice distraction at a lot of levels, including the InterService and...

Most ridiculous things heard in an LGS or range

Rifle indoors? Like a Mosin carbine with full power loads flinging a ball of fire after the bullet on a dimly lit range? I didn't see it, only heard it, and decided it was time to go somewhere else. It's a little hard to focus on Bullseye shooting...lol. There are some pics somewhere on here...

Let's Talk About Bear Defense for an 82-Year Old.

I didn't read all the way through. Depending on what kind of shape he's in for 82, I'd bet improperly dealt-with recoil of an 'appropriate firearm' would hurt him almost as much as not shooting a charging bear that will *actually* make contact. Bear spray. If I used a golf cart to commute, I'd...
