      Yes, forms were filed WAY before Oct. 1. He said he was just covering his butt. They are very unclear about what MD is doing. Kinda like the rest of us. I also have some filed post Oct. 1, but I haven't heard anything on those yet.

      Why tempt fate? You're handing out some bad advice. A police officer has every right, and in my opinion, an obligation, to investigate someone possessing an SBR and especially a machine gun. They are treated the same in the NFA world. If you have either of these (or a supressor or SBS)...

      I got a phone call from NFA branch on a half dozen Form 4's I had pending prior to October 1. They requested emailed copies of the receipts showing pre October 1 purchase. Once I sent it, the Forms were received less than a week later.

      It was after the advisory, they voided it the first time; then I sent proof of pre October and it came back not disapproved.

      I received a NOT DISAPPROVED response from MSP today on an SBR submitted on a 77R application. This was a pre-October purchase where the Form 4 recently came back.

      I submitted a form four with a minor error. I indicated lane instead of road in the address and I was told the entire form had to be withdrawn and resubmitted.
