A 3" barrel isn't optimal for .45, but it gets the job done at close distances. I found that when I first started shooting mine, my aim was way off. Had to do with the way I was holding the pistol and pulling the trigger. With my big hands, I really have to concentrate on holding it straight...
I've had to force myself to stay away. The wife has said, "I didn't know we had one of these" once too many times. There's going to be trouble when all my suppressors start showing up.
