      HQL Process update

There are less than 75 people on earth with my last name. For me, I think it's because I have lived so many places. More "backgrounds" to check I guess. My brother has lived in MD his whole adult life and it only took like 4 days.

      HQL Process update

Some fellas have said they had to wait over 30 days...which could be accounted for with an interpretation of business days. I think i'm just over analyzing it. In the Navy we call that "Nuke'n - it" based on the common practice of nuclear operators over thinking simple concepts.

      HQL Process update

Active today! based on a conversation with MSP it sounds like the time limit is 30 calendar days, but that's probably malleable.

How Long Did Your HQL Approval Take?

ACTIVE July 2 applied - July 28 active Waiting on card. Seems like a new poll thread should be started which reflects those HQLs that take longer than 10 days. 1-2 days 3-5 days 6-8 days 8-11 days or whatever

      Beretta Value

Thanks guys Looks like I can't go wrong either way. Off topic: I'm thinking of buying from NOVO Firearms in Virginia based on his recent "failed attempt" to open a new shop in Arlington. The local anti-gun crowd stopped him from opening the shop and he lost a lot of money. I also really want...

      Beretta Value

I am new to the market and I'm just looking for a little Maryland specific guidance. Thanks for any advice. From what I can see online I would pay the same for a new 92 as I would for a used one (might save $75 or so). Is this correct? If so…why should I not invest in a new gun vice used?

RFID Gun Storage (Hornady and The GunBox)

It seems more simple to wave your hand to open the safe (with the RFID). I suspect it is faster, especially if you are in a hurry. I suppose with practice the simplex style would be just as fast, and probably more reliable as far as the mechanics of the box. Any input from someone out there...

      Churches during these trying times

It is not uncommon to have armed guards at synagogues especially during important holidays. You might try reaching out to some nearby synagogues and see how they handle it.

RFID Gun Storage (Hornady and The GunBox)

Does anyone here use an RFID handgun storage device? Any opinions? The GunBox and the one by Hornady seem to be the top two out there.
