I put a 9 barrel in my m&p 40. It worked well but I had a few extraction gremlins. Fine for the range though. I used a factory smith barrel nothing fancy.
Tackle box just called me and said they are clearing their backlog and I can pick up my firearm. I asked if they were doing the 8 day release now and they said that they were. They said they are running out of room and losing business to other ffls that were already releasing early.
Yes their prices are pretty high most of the time. I do occasionally find a gem in the used handgun cabinet though. Only reason I ever frequented there.

My buddies wife just bought him an anderson ar-15. We shot it 150ish rounds no lube (rf85 coated), no hiccups. Shot it with my colt 6920 and they both felt great, I wouldn't hesitate to snap up that lower if I was in the market.
