It is a little bigger, the double lock is what sold me on it. It was a little more than I wanted to spend at $112 but so far I'm happy with it. The only draw back so far is the back edge of the blade is a little abrasive when reach in my pocket around it.

I picked up a R1 a couple years ago. Using just the 2 factory mags that came with it and I had failure to feed on the 6th round everytime no matter which mag or what type of ammo. Put about 100 rounds through it and it cleared up and hasn't caused an issue since.
Certainly worth a stop on the way to the beach.
In a basement of a house, nice little shop with hundreds and hundreds of knives. Prices seemed good, employees were very friendly and personable. No pressure and can feel out any thing they have.

I've been advised about a knife shop in Greenwood I'm going to check out after work. If they dont have something for me I'm just going to pick up a good enough knife to hold me until I get to the next gun show.

I didn't know finding a new knife was going to be such a challenge. Tried Dicks in Dover but they had a terrible selection of mostly cheap knives. Gave walmart a shot in Camden but they had the same but fewer than Dicks. Then tried tractor supply but they hardly had any.
