      Time to expand

I've been in the archery industry for a long time, and the biggest thing I've seen new archers do wrong is buy the first thing they pull back from a big box store.. 2 big things to consider....archery and bowhunting is fun when you are accurate....ie good draw length/weight settings...

      Anyone still bowhunting?

wet aging to me is easier.... Thaw out a couple steaks in the fridge about 7days prior to grilling, it sits in it's own juices for that time. The fibers break down during that time, I've done it with Sika,Elk and Whitetails, it seems this sitting in it's own juices give it a better flavor as...

      Anyone still bowhunting?

I never bowhunt in January, cause my skinny behind doesn't like the cold, plus my freezer is normally full from sept/oct bowhunting.. The last 2 years I've stayed away from deer hunting as much as possible because of 3 ruptured lumbar disc.. But I know January and a corn pile can be...

      Draw length and it's importance!

While working on 2 of my target bows and trying to get one to match the other, I'm reminded of how important draw length is to archery..:party29: Perfect draw length makes you hold steadier! That simple.. You ever have different bows that shot better? More than likely it fit you better! In...

      Diamond Bows

I did another one today that was a little better, but still ended up with a little peep rotation and the old string had some wear on the idler..... This string was perfect also prior to putting it on... It actually doesn't rotate much, but I'm a perfectionist.. especially with my strings.

I'm currently rebuilding a friends Diamond bow with a new string/cable and notice on the idler wheel serving of the old string that it has an unusual amount of wear. Does anyone else shoot a diamond and do you have idler wheel serving wear? Normaly we see this with bows that have excessive...
