Another vote for the European hornet. We had a nest in the top of an oak tree. They were feeding off of the lilac bushes next to the house. Nasty little buggers.

right. there's the rub. They spent time and resources to keep their things "out of town". Now, it's all harder to unload because they kept it excluded.
Actually, that was their "new" location on 301. Prior to the tornado, the store was on St. Mary's Avenue (Green turtle bldg.). The lumberyard, truss plant, etc. was at the Potomac St. yard.
Kent and Potomac is the site I'm talking about. I've been hearing rumors about building multiples of residential units near here (area between Charles St., Washington Ave. and Radio Station Rd.). If you subtract out the wetland area and Laurel Springs park, that is a lot of rooftops for the town...
