This is something that people have talked about for years.
1. All ammo with lead is bad for the environment and must be banned.
2. All ammo made with metals harder than lead is "armor piercing" and must be banned.
Spent more time on the Atlantic than anywhere, thanks. Nope, nothing. This idea that there are giant floating islands of garbage is a myth as far as I can tell.
Over 2 decades I spent riding ships in the Navy, never saw a "garbage patch" in open ocean. Red Sea and North Arabian Gulf were gross but that was isolated.
You're they one who said they should pack up their shit and go home (not to their face of course, just on the keyboard). Denied is your words, you'll have to ask yourself that.
We will have to agree to disagree.
That aside, we sound like dicks/the Maryland General Assembly (but, I repeat myself) shitting on (likely) new shooters and saying they have no business exercising a right without training.
Meh. Going to the range and practicing is trying. I'm not in the habit of giving unsolicited advice, but I've been asked for pointers more than once just being friendly (vs. taking pictures of their target). Lessons might be better, but repetition helps IMO.
90% of people at indoor ranges...
It's been a while but my experience with them was great. They even mailed me the muzzle device that came with the can while I was waiting on the transfer to the dealer.
I just started reloading about 6 months ago and the answer 9/10 is no, it doesn't make sense.
Even if you have buckets of range brass, primer and powder prices are crazy.
