I love my Lee classic 4 hole turret. It allows me to do both pistol and rifle and is very easy to convert from one to another. It was fairly inexpensive and allowed me to get up and running quickly. Someday I will upgrade to a Dillon but even when I do I will still keep the Lee around for...
Lee turret press kit. I love mine and for the money it can't be beat. You can always upgrade components and presses at a later time.

Pistol powder seems to be a bit tricky to come by these days. What are you planning on loading for? What's your location? Might be easier to find a store to pick up an available pound locally until you find one you want to buy larger quantities for.

Are you reloading Pistol or Rifle? For Pistol it doesn't matter if the primers are removed prior to cleaning or not, for rifle, especially long distance hunting and competition removing the spent primer prior to cleaning allows for a more consistent platform from which to start. If you're just...
I stopped by today to check in on their powders and they have started to write it down on sheet of paper just to the left of number dispenser. Not sure if they always do this or if it was the idea of one of the guys that happened to be working.
They had IMR 4064 and IMR 4831 at about 10 AM.
Hey Doc, I have 100 I can trade, but I'm up in Havre de Grace so that would be a bit of a hike. If you can't find someone closer to you though shoot me a PM.

If you haven't already, check out their brass buy back program, I ended up paying $16 (shipping) for 1k of the .223.

I just started reloading .45 ACP recently myself and went with 200gr swc. I ordered mine from Bayou Bullets, however I really like Rainier Ballistics stuff too. Recently ordered .223 boolits from extreme but haven't tried their handgun rounds yet.

I prefer Win 231, for me it measures better than Titegroup did. I'm using the Lee Turret press setup and loading for both .40 S&W and .45 ACP. I didn't notice a big difference in shooting results so for me it came down to consistency of the powder drop.

Shouldn't be an issue. Have heard stories of people that have pulled out powder and primers that were in their garage for 10 years or more and everything still worked fine.

I love the idea of this thread so I'll add that I have a few thousand 9mm brass that I would be willing to trade for the following, .223/5.56, .45 ACP, Small or Large Pistol Primers. Also I'm looking to get into shotshell reloading so if anyone has a 12 gauge Shotshell press they would be...
