That sounds almost too good to be true. Got pics of it? i'd love to se what a great revolver that you were able to pick up, especially due to the such super low price, and by your admission. This is especially precarious since gun shows are...
I had that happen before and it was from a lack of knowledge on the sellers part. I just don't think they wanted to admit it and came up with a BS excuse why he couldn't sell to me.
I can't believe I read this ridiculous thread and am still confused.
Sorry, but the O.P. is obviously confused and doesn't realize it.
I'd say a lawyer is just one of the people this guys needs to talk to before attempting to buy a gun. A psych might be the first stop, then an english class...
I agree. I personally think that the NRA range should be 5x as strict as any other range since if something happened there, be it even a suicide; the detrimental impact from anti's and the national news coverage that would invariable follow would significantly hurt the range to no end.
Just...
Awesome knife.
110's are my all time favorite. I still have one I "borrowed" from my Dad when I was a kid :)
I just checked out their custom shop. That is pretty cool.
I am looking to sell this. Although I heard that even though I am grandfathered into owning it, I can't sell it in the state of Maryland.
What do you guys suggest since I am looking to sell it?
Do you know what these area going for? I know I have ~ $2500 into it with all the high end Chaos...
Take it to an authorized dealer and they will tell you if it is worth servicing to sell or not.
Ideally they should be serviced every 2-3 years. Or at least that is what I was told and have done.
I got lucky and got in on the Seekings Precision Lower Group Buy at the last minute. Definitely happy I did it even though money is/was super tight.
I guess I could also add finishing up my Saiga 12 conversion with a bunch of goodies and a 20 round MD Arms drum. Right now it is awaiting the...
The best way I have used oven cleaner is put it in a bag and seal it. Let it sit for an hour or two and the surface with be brand new. I use this for my charcoal bbq's every few seasons.
I have an M&P 15 and just added a few things to it. First was the Vortex Strikefire and a 3x magnifier. Both are quick release so I can use them on either my AR or Saiga, which is handy.
I picked them up over Xmas and the whole setup was $220 or something.
It is a pretty nice little setup for me.
I don't have time to learn to machine or get a lathe right now, but that will be on my list even after I move to PA since I like building my own stuff and the gun laws will only be getting worse over the years.
I'm not going to read through 7 pages, but I'll give you the best solution I've found - Eezox.
I sprayed down my 1911 Kimber Eclipse Target II and my TiGold Desert Eagle and opened the cases 7 years later after being in crappy storage conditions and they both were perfect. I haven't used...
I use it to lube my guns too, after learning on here that it worked a lot better than most of the products you pay $10 for a one ounce tube - like militec ( no war starting there, but it sucks).
Eezox is insane when it comes to the corrosion protection.
There are tons of these tests out...
I hear you there. But Eezox is way different and Mobil 1 can't fit the applications that I need it for.
For 1, there is NO MESS at all, no grease, no oil, etc. None of that. So I can spray things down and go, or lightly wipe them and put them back. It makes for a quick and easy way to protect...
Just like the post says - I ran out of Eezox and that can't happen around here. I use it on anything and everything metal that goes outside (except painted stuff of course).
I would much rather support a local business if I can find it local, but haven't had much luck in the past. I'm still...
