Mosin food for sale or trade

It’s been a while since I was on here, so forgive me if this isn’t allowed. I have a crate of 1985 Russian 7.62x54r, and would like to sell or trade for a long gun. Please check listing here, and again - apologies if this is verboten...

1932 Hex Mosin and 440rd can of Mosin food

Looking to sell this Mosin and a can of ammo - https://www.mdshooters.com/showthread.php?p=1052850#post1052850 Asked $400 for both, thought that was plenty fair...but the buyer went lower. I'm seeing nice, matching, Hex receivers over $300 on GB...Isn't my original asking price fair?

Bit off more than I could chew - Walther PP detail strip

I kinda knew this was a bad idea from the start, but I found a great YouTube on detail-stripping my Walther PP and got started. Since I bought it, my gf has shot a sizable cross-section of dirty ammo through it while learning the ropes. Add to that however many years pre-me shooting, and it was...

      Fair price for P1 & P38?

I'd to sell my late 70s matching P1, and the follow up purchase - a mixmaster P38 (apparently) from the mid-60s... What's a fair price for these guns with a local sale, in the new HQL environment? P1 - http://www.mdshooters.com/showthread.php?t=52707&highlight=walther P38 -...

      Czech 22LR trainers at Wideners

Anyone buy one of these? http://wideners.com/itemdetail.cfm?item_id=100000448&dir= Looks sturdy, and in great condition - but I find the single-shot rifles to be tedious...Does anybody know if you can add a box magazine? Any other thoughts on these rifles? Thanks

      New-to-me M44 from Widener's

Behold, my 1st M44 and my 2nd Mosin. This one isn't in nearly as nice shape as the 91/30 I bought from Dan's Ammo, but I like the character of it. Seems like a mixmaster through and through, with various arsenal stamps all over and some electropenciling on the butt plate for good measure...

Old family guns, newish to me

I inherited these a while back, just haven't gotten around to posting them. I don't know all that much about them, so if any wiser collectors can fill in any blanks - that's always appreciated. And finally, if you see something you like, perhaps we can make a deal. Hopkins and...

      Pre-64 Winchester Model 94, 30-30

I'm trying to get my dad out hunting again, and thought he'd probably like his boyhood rifle - the Model 94 in 30-30. Does anyone have one of these to sell/trade?

      Manurhin/Walther PP .32ACP, with original box/etc

I've been looking at auctions for .32ACP Walthers for a while, and decided on this PP made by Manurhin in (approximately) 1961. I wanted something that my g/f could comfortably shoot, and that would also hold value as a C&R piece. I really like that it comes with the original box, original...

'My First SKS', or Yugo 24/48 from Dan's Ammo?

I was perusing Dan's wares and thought I'd pick something up from him when the tax refund comes. I've dealt with Dan before, and he's always been a nice guy with great wares. http://www.dansammo.com/firearms.asp What Would You Buy?

      Ze Germans - my P38 & P1

Well, I guess I've been warned that these things multiply... A Walther P1 from AIM was my first purchase, and I was impressed right out of the box and especially at the range. So, I had to bite when Dan's Ammo (a real nice guy with great stuff) listed what appeared to be post-war P38s. It...

Steel-case Tula ammo in USGI M1 Carbines?

Just saw CTD has Tula polysteel cased 30carbine ammo for $12/50. Had anyone used this in their USGI carbine? Any ejection problems? This price is right, but I've never used Tula ammo before.

      Mosin-friendly Range Poll

Just received my first Mosin last week (pics in another thread), and I wanted to poll the audience to see where people take theirs out and shoot. **I'm looking for alternatives to the AGC range in Marriotsville. Thanks!

      Gunsmith near Baltimore?

I dropped off two of my guns with HNP Muzzleloaders before asking this question, but does anyone here have an opinion on HNP or a preference for other smiths? One task I have pending is a firing pin replacement on a (non-AIM) Star Model B... Thanks in advance!

      91/30s at Dan's - anyone bite?

Dan has them listed for $109, numbers matching, "collector grade"... http://www.dansammo.com/firearms.asp Think this is good for a first Mosin, or should I wait for the Timonium show?

      Beretta 1951 jammed - help!

During its first range outing, I was able to fire one full magazine leaving the chamber open before handing it to a friend who (apparently) has the reverse Midas touch. I don't know what he did, but it locked up in this position and I can't get it to come apart. Any ideas? It shot very well...

      Range report!

I brought quite the collection today: grandfathers m1 carbine and 38 model 17, walther p1, and beretta 1951. Carbine didn't fire, disappointingly. I think it's the firing pin or spring, but I might surrender to a pro gunsmith for fear of hurting the heirloom. 38 fired flawlessly, and quite...
