I got this knife in a trade, maker Aaron Gray of Gray Wolf Knives.
Blade is 01 tool steel 3/16 thick, handle has a natural micarta liner with Iron wood.
Man this knife is balanced nicely. Here are a few pics.
At putting a fixed blade knife together. Bought a blade blank last week, mounted the wood (Ironwood) Friday and let the epoxy cure 24 hours. Sunday I started shaping the handle, still have some finish sanding to do.
Check out Lehigh's new .300BLK projectile. Might have to try some.

Looking for a good holster that wont brake the bank to start 2 gun in the spring. I'll be using a Sig 226. Just needs some help from someone that has shot 2 gun or 3 gun.
Thanks, Keith.
Finally finished with some load development for my NM service rifle. The load is a Hornady 75gr BTHP with Winchester 748, shot real good off the bench at 100 yards. Now to load some more and start practicing offhand, sitting and prone and see how the load does.
I've been working up some gallery loads for my Marlin, using Hornady 158gr XTP pistol bullets and 2400 powder. Found a good combination that does not beat your shoulder up. :D 50 yard groups were good with iron sights, I need to load some more up and go have fun. Now my wife can try shooting...

Recently I've been shooting Metallic Silhouette matches with iron sights and could not become consistent with the iron sights. Hitting Rams at 200 yards is a hard thing to do offhand. So I put a scope on my S&W model 29, 44mag. Can't wait to try it out. The scope is a Nikon Force XR 2.5-8x28...
I like to reload standing or sitting on a high stool, so I had to jack up the press. I built a bridge out of some hard red oak. Found a LED light at Ikea and mounted some bullet bins. Got the powder measure set up so everything is close and I run smoothly. :D
There are a few things I want to get before Oct.:innocent0 I'm set on a Ruger Blackhawk in .44spl but I'm not sure what barrel length 4.62" or 5.50" This will be my first SA revolver and I already reload for .44spl. I can't swing both. :sad20: Any Blackhawk shooters out there? Thanks...
