Supreme Court Requested to Review MD Carry Case

What a travesty of justice. This man will spend a year in jail because of an activity that should be perfectly legal. The man was moving his property from one location to another, it shouldn't even matter that the property was a gun. Adding in the fact that it was a gun, the second ammendment...

      WV CCW WIN

This is my point Hopalong, the story did not call someone the "robber". If the story had said "the alleged robber, Joe Snuffy...", then I would agree with you. However, when there is nothing to identify the specific individual, it is disingenuous to add "alleged". Everyone agrees there was a...

And there in lies the problem with interpretation. I fully support innocent until proven guilty, however, the fact is a robber entered the store with a shotgun and mask (possibly ski mask). A customer, who was lawfully carrying a semi-automatic weapon (I seriously doubt a machine pistol was...

An add-on to the story: http://bdtonline.com/local/x1592796908/McDowell-suspect-arrested-in-connection-with-robbery I love how the "alleged robber" was shot multiple times, and the "alleged robber" dropped the money... I'm surprised it doesn't say "the alleged robbery was allegedly shot...

ahh, if only it had a snowball's chance in haiti.. (ps - yes, I know the correct analogy would be "a snowball's chance in hell (or Hades)" but haiti is hot too!!)

      Open Carry of Concealed?

You gotta love the press, they know so little about this stuff that even when they try to get it right they mess it up. Most specifically, the caption of the second photo "With his Colt 1991-A1 pistol ...". Wow, I've never seen this fabled 1991-A1, wonder if it's a double-stack? LOL The...

Concealed carry on your own (residential) property - A couple of questions

My around the house piece is a Kahr CW45, 7 rounds of .45 in a small package. It gets on target quickly and shoots very well. As I referenced above, with 2 small children in the house "strategic placement" isn't a reality. Thanks for the advice, though.

Concealed carry on your own (residential) property - A couple of questions

As others have said (and I've said many times on here before) for me it's the small kids and knowing that I'm prepared. I don't always carry around the house, but some days it just feels like the thing to do (well, most days). When not carried, the guns are secure, and the children have been...

Can the Gov’t Regulate Private Gunmakers? Montana Man Challenges Federal Laws

JOBU - You're wrong, simple as that. As has been repeatedly pointed out, just because something effects, even substantially, the enumerated power, doesn't give the government the power to regulate it. That is why the power is enumerated. Commerce within a State is to be regulated by the...
