      Handgun Transfer Question

      I just wanna make sure I understand this, because I just went to golden ring and did a FTF for an AR. In 8 days I can release it, then have the guy sign the paperwork when I get it? Just trying to avoid an imperial entanglements.

      So, I've got a question kinda along these lines. Just went and did all the paperwork for a secondary sale at Golden Ring. Am I allowed to release the weapon after 7 days, but before I receive any kind of paperwork from MSP? Or will I have to hold it just like an FFL?

      I have a quick question. I have a restricted permit (can only carry at work). Could I just send a letter over to the MSP now, asking them to amend my permit to unrestricted? Would it be less of a waste of time than trying to apply for a separate permit?

      I'm a federal security contractor, and I make about 55k. Other than that, go on usajobs and look for physical security specialist jobs. They pay good.

      MPSP, to clarify, I meant that the Armed Permit has a few different versions. Some allow you to carry to and from work, and some only allow you to have a weapon on site.

      Update: A job I've been waiting on for over 8 months finally came through. Way better pay. But in one day, I've learned the poor quality of the people, and will be using it as a stepping stone. I thank everyone for the ideas and advice.
