I just wanna make sure I understand this, because I just went to golden ring and did a FTF for an AR. In 8 days I can release it, then have the guy sign the paperwork when I get it? Just trying to avoid an imperial entanglements.
So, I've got a question kinda along these lines. Just went and did all the paperwork for a secondary sale at Golden Ring. Am I allowed to release the weapon after 7 days, but before I receive any kind of paperwork from MSP? Or will I have to hold it just like an FFL?
I'd like to comment on them physically printing the cards.
I'm an armed security manager. I am therefore required to maintain a Handgun Permit, and a Security Guard card from the state. Last time I renewed my SG card, it took them four months to actually print it. I had to get my delegate on...
I have a quick question. I have a restricted permit (can only carry at work). Could I just send a letter over to the MSP now, asking them to amend my permit to unrestricted? Would it be less of a waste of time than trying to apply for a separate permit?
MPSP, to clarify, I meant that the Armed Permit has a few different versions. Some allow you to carry to and from work, and some only allow you to have a weapon on site.
There are several kinds of armed permits. Some only allow you to carry a weapon while working. Some allow you to transport to and from your place of work.
I currently hate the licensing process. You have to get a company to sponsor you for your license, but most companies won't hire you if you...
Update: A job I've been waiting on for over 8 months finally came through. Way better pay. But in one day, I've learned the poor quality of the people, and will be using it as a stepping stone. I thank everyone for the ideas and advice.
I'm actually looking at going back for a Homeland Security masters. But not until I have a little bit better income. Or find a gig that will pay for it. I have a Federal contract job, but I'm waiting for someone to sign my packet, but I think I have to wait until the government finishes it's...
Thanks for all the good advice. I just sent an app to York County Police, so maybe something will come from that. I know my degree isn't worth squat, but my family wanted me to be the first to go to school, so I did. Right now, as Mike just stated, I'm trying to use every single option I have to...
Thing is, I'm kinda at the bottom. I'm a mall cop. I'm looking for anything that pays more. Thanks for the advice guys.
Besides teaching, a History degree is like most other liberal arts. I can take data, in many forms, and use it to support a conclusion. So lots of analyst work.
Well, with the job world the way it is, I figured I'd take a shot at someone here knowing about a decent opportunity.
I have a BA in History from Towson. Mostly world history stuff. I took Japanese and German before I graduated.
I worked on a farm for 6 years, did some construction and liquor...
The only thing I ask is that you give me a hard time about picking up my brass, and any that people give me. That's been my experience at a few places.
