      My understanding is that the prohibition applies particularly to buildings which are occupied by Park Service employees. It shouldn't apply to stand-alone bathroom buildings.

      After they notify you that your permit has been approved, how much time do you have to pick it up? I never know in advance when I might have a slow day at work, which would be the ideal time to make the run to America. It would be nice to have the flexibility to wait a week or two before...
