Very nice guy and great to do business with. Wouldn’t hesitate to do so again in the future.

Maryland Arms Collector’s Show: Timonium, March 16th-17th, 2024

Thought about heading down again today but I probably won’t be able to make it. Found most of what I needed yesterday and Friday anyway.

Maryland Arms Collector’s Show: Timonium, March 16th-17th, 2024

Just got back from the show “set-up”. Found a mint Bannerman Mosin sporter for a great price and a Swiss M1851 Feldstutzer. Lots of neat stuff as usual. If you’re looking for a Trapdoor Springfield, Krag-Jorgensen or a double barreled shotgun, you’re going to be happy. There’s hundreds of each...

Maryland Arms Collector’s Show: Timonium, March 16th-17th, 2024

I’ll be there later this afternoon during set up. Best part about being in the club is that you get to get in during set up hours before the show starts!

I will probably bring an Afghan War Bringback M1893 Mauser (Antique) with me to the show to sell if anybody is interested.

Maryland Arms Collector’s Show: Timonium, March 16th-17th, 2024

Yes, you can bring in C&R long guns or Antique Firearms to sell. Like pre64 said, just make sure they are unloaded before you bring them in. They will have gun checkers at the door. Just make sure you don’t try to wheel in an entire cart full of firearms to walk around with like some weirdo guy...

Maryland Arms Collector’s Show: Timonium, March 16th-17th, 2024

The attendance requirement has been “shelved” essentially. It’s not really being enforced right now other than the first year of membership. I’ve had some good luck getting new members, but I’ve been surprised by the lack of interest the membership here (on MDShooters) has to joining the club...

Maryland Arms Collector’s Show: Timonium, March 16th-17th, 2024

Post World War Two weapons (not handguns…until next year) are allowed at the show. It’s not explicitly stated, but basically anything pre-Vietnam is allowed. The show is geared for mostly antique and C&R firearms. The pre-Vietnam timeline is used so people don’t start showing up with AR’s...

Another cart before the horse tale: Japanese FN 1910 rig

Awesome pistol! The finish doesn’t look too bad! I can’t imagine bubba would park something like that, I’d imagine an older bubba would nickel plate it or high polish blue it.

      Smith & Wesson’s new rifle

I handled one at the S&W booth at the Great American Outdoor Show. Seemed like a nice rifle, but I won’t be buying one at that price point. I’ll stick with my older Marlins, or I’ll buy a new Ruger Marlin in .45-70. Neither of them can can’t be beat.

My wife got one from Brian a while back. Nice rifle. Shoots well.

      Ever Seen a Mauser Shotgun?

I actually found this on Gunbroker 5-6 months or so ago.

      Ever Seen a Mauser Shotgun?

Snagged this on Gunbroker about 5 months ago or so. After World War One the Allies and the Treaty of Versailles forced the German’s to destroy much of their armaments. There were a lot of excess Gewehr 98 rifles left over, so instead of turning them into scrap, many of them were bought up by...

      Italian Bodeo m1889

I’ve got one and the dies to load for it. I haven’t actually loaded any ammo for it yet, but I have shot it. Neat revolver with a long history. A bit awkward to shoot with the enlisted man version without the trigger guard. Not my favorite military revolver by any means, but I bought it for...
