BRAND spanking new to reloading in Frederick... Maryland_Pinz - Frederick County (Middletown) I have purchased pretty much everything I need (mostly Hornady stuff, single press, progressive press, etc.) years ago and never set it up or did anything at all with it. I finally got a couple...

Picked up a beautiful Yugo 59/66 SKS off a MDS member

Here's my SKS Here's a couple of pictures of my SKS. I have only shot her a few times during one session at the NRA headquarters range in VA. I was surprised at how fun it was to shoot! It sure would be cool if there was legal way to try out the grenade launcher attachment! I'm guessing...

      Trapping Rabbits

Wabbit problems If you decide to use your bow, make sure you use something like a Zwickey Judo Point or other small game arrow tip. Don't use a field point like I did once upon a time--the arrow disappeared in the ground completely, never to be found again. :sad20:

      getting started in hunting?

Public land hunting in MD I only hunt public land in Frederick County, MD (mainly b/c I'm new to hunting, don't have my own private land that's good for hunting on, and haven't tried much to find a private source yet). I mostly hunt during the week, b/c Saturday is usually quite a bit more...

Opening day for deer - Maryland - Muzzleloader

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I was kicking myself the day before because I had a doe walk right past me within no more than 10 feet, right when I was starting to get settled in. I didn't even have a chance to check distances w/ the range finder yet, and here she comes. I probably could...

Opening day for deer - Maryland - Muzzleloader

Got my first deer! Been lurking a little, and I hate to introduce myself in this fashion, but what the heck--gotta start somewhere! I'm new to hunting, never having been taught by anyone and growing up in an area that is not very friendly to hunters. In fact, most of the people I know think...

I got this off the DNR website for hunting regulations--here's the link: http://www.eregulations.com/maryland/hunting/hunting-regulations/ But here's what you were asking about. And I quote... "In addition to the regulations listed elsewhere in this guide, it is unlawful to: •Hunt...
