      Range report on the new AR

      I'm still working on my iron sights as well. I went to hap baker this weekend and shot 5 inch groups at 50 yard and 7 inch groups at 100 yards with my new AR. The groups were in the 2 O'clock area , but still within the 12 inch circle part of the target. I'll be working on the zeroing it in...

      check out www.surplusammo.com. you can get cases of 500 and 1000 really cheap for well known brands. That's wher I get my AR ammo and at $150 for 500 rounds of .223, that equals about $15 per every 50 rounds. Can't beat it. Not even cheaterthandirt.com. A box of 40 rounds of 223 at walmart...
