Its not too bad, Its definitely louder than the full size can but I was willing to give up some DB's for the shorter config. I am very happy with it overall.

I did the same thing, with the help of a fellow member I got a 10/22 receiver off gun broker. I ordered the rest of the parts I wanted and actually put this together about 3 hours ago. I will have my scope tomorrow and other than that, It is complete.
