      Mini-14 Factory Defect

      For a range toy this is a great choice. No need to blow MP5 money. CZ Scorpion would also be great.

      FEDEX Delays - Almost 2 Weeks and no package!!

      Ok. FedEx literally just dumped a box containing a rifle on my front stoop. It was coming back from the manufacturer after I sent it for repairs. The box was clearly marked "adult signature required." Do I need to report this to someone?

      Looking for Ruger Mini 14 Mags

      Word is that ProMags for the Mini-14 and -30 can actually be pretty reliable if you replace the follower with a Ruger factory follower. Midway USA sells them for like 4 bucks. Pretty decent option to save some cash. Still wouldn't trust them for mission critical situations but fine for plinking.

      Yep. ASI sells a combination barrel stabilizing bar and adjustable gas block. The stabilizer plus the turning down of the over-gassing present on the base rifle can make it surprisingly accurate.
