Hello folks. Please see the pictures. It looks like Ruger failed to machine the dovetails into the left side of the rifle's receiver. You can see where they are on the other picture.
Is this something that a gunsmith can fix? Or that Ruger can fix? Or are they going to need to replace the...
Ok. FedEx literally just dumped a box containing a rifle on my front stoop. It was coming back from the manufacturer after I sent it for repairs. The box was clearly marked "adult signature required." Do I need to report this to someone?
Got tomatoes, gourds, and some peppers germinating. Pumpkins, scallions, watermelons, radishes, strawberries, and more peppers to follow post-frost danger.
Word is that ProMags for the Mini-14 and -30 can actually be pretty reliable if you replace the follower with a Ruger factory follower. Midway USA sells them for like 4 bucks. Pretty decent option to save some cash. Still wouldn't trust them for mission critical situations but fine for plinking.

Hello folks,
I am looking for something that may not exist. In particular, an optic that has unlimited eye relief, has a reticle that requires no battery to see, and is not a red dot or holographic.
Like "glass irons" or a no magnification scope.
Thanks!
Seconded. The post-2008 production models are more stable and accurate. Plus there is a slew of aftermarket parts that reduce recoil, improve accuracy, and can customize it almost to the degree of an AR-15.
