      Got all the missing parts in finally after one sat in USPS purgatory for awhile. Stock and forend are sanded down and ready for finishing. Most surprisingly of all, the rust pitting on the barrel is cleaning up well. I probably won't get it all out, but it looks a thousand times better than when...

      I've been thinking about scratching this itch as well and have been looking at Silencer Shop. Does anyone have experience with their Single Shot NFA trust? Would it be easier to set up my own? This will be my first NFA purchase, but there will be others down the line.

      Finally got around to submitting my app. App submitted on 4/30/18. HQL active on 5/9/18. Do I have to wait for my card in the mail or can I use my License # to purchase in the meantime?

      VA NR permits-6 months to process?

      6 months seems to be holding true. Submitted my paperwork at the end of October. Didn't receive a response until December that my paperwork was accepted and is being processed. Response stated that it would take between 90 and 180 days.
