The Amish on 236 in St Marys have sign for ducks, geese,chickens and some other birds can't remember what else but I'm sure they can tell you where to go.

I start at the end of Sept first of Oct but it seems to get good in March at the end of season.We almost always get couple dozen in the morn its alot of fun and when they come they come fast then you get a break then start call box up and do it again.

Why don't they just open gun season on September 15 and go till Jan 15 no bag limit that would put gun season in during rut and that should knock the numbers down.If everyone shot one doe during this extra season how many years would it take to make deer a thing of the past.
I got a good buddy that does that he said deer don't want no frosty leaf to munch on he stays in stand from 9 to 5 lets all the hunters coming in and out push deer to him hes been pretty good at getting nice bucks
I always fill bottom with ice then meat then ice on top then salt with couple pounds make sure to drain and refill every couple days never had a problem just make sure its really cold
