      The Amish on 236 in St Marys have sign for ducks, geese,chickens and some other birds can't remember what else but I'm sure they can tell you where to go.

      Crows will eat eggs like turkey,ducks and goose eggs so water fowl hunters like when you hunt them.Farmers don't like them so they like when you hunt them.And for me there just alot of fun to hunt so CromMd likes when he hunts them.

      I start at the end of Sept first of Oct but it seems to get good in March at the end of season.We almost always get couple dozen in the morn its alot of fun and when they come they come fast then you get a break then start call box up and do it again.

      Why don't they just open gun season on September 15 and go till Jan 15 no bag limit that would put gun season in during rut and that should knock the numbers down.If everyone shot one doe during this extra season how many years would it take to make deer a thing of the past.

      I got a good buddy that does that he said deer don't want no frosty leaf to munch on he stays in stand from 9 to 5 lets all the hunters coming in and out push deer to him hes been pretty good at getting nice bucks

      Aging venison in cooler?

      I always fill bottom with ice then meat then ice on top then salt with couple pounds make sure to drain and refill every couple days never had a problem just make sure its really cold

      I would test that 30 dollar climber out before you buy it alot of older ones don't grip the tree very well make sure you tie a rope to both pieces its a long way down when the bottom drops I like the ladder stands myself and I buy the bike locks so far none have walked away

      My wife just come home with a Stevens 12 gauge pump from Dicks came with 100 rounds of buck shot for 200 bucks looks pretty good hope to try it out this week

      Hunting and trash

      I worked for a guy that smoked like a chimney lit one off the other and he killed some of the biggest deers I ever saw never could figure that out
