The question then is why would "Leadership want this to die"? To me that is needs to be determined.
Short answer would be to send a message to freshman Delegate that her actions this session were out of line.

And how to we harness it, bottle it, and hand out more of it next year.
Opportunity to set the record straight publicly. I’m betting the post gets deleted before long. https://www.facebook.com/324858467568005/posts/2124313320955835?sfns=mo

No, I think Zirkin and the rest of the JPR were put out by Delegate Atterbery's response to the amendments made to her bill, even go so far (too far) as to complain in public to the BS. That just doesn't get done during the legislative session, and the JPR first amending her bill in such a way that the House would not accept it, and then not nominating members to a conference committee was their way of telling her she was out of line.
If she thinks she will get a different result on the same type of bill nect session, then she had better learn to play nice with others, but I really hope she doesn't and continues to act as aloof as she does.
If Del. Atterbeary is indeed a SJW, she will think the same and expect that her way of thinking ultimately prevails. After all, she just didn't do a good enough job explaining it the first time. The next time it fails, she'll come back and say she didn't do a good enough job explaining it either time. And it repeats until hopefully she goes away. It's never the idea that's the problem with SJWs - it's just that the sales pitch needs to be improved.

Good point. I believe the interview with the Sun was mid March when she complained that the Senate had "gutted" her bill. Not a great way to negotiate with the other chamber, especially in your own party.

That's why I think she is losing her grip with reality.
Moms Demand Agreement. If you don’t you’re a racist/mysognist/gun nut. Until they realize we are not a monolith than a real conversation will never take place. I’ll engage any of them in conversation and be willing to listen if they would do the same.
They lie and obfuscate to the public continuously (vs general banter on their own forum). Whether it's continuously talking about how their forced NICS check for secondary long gun sales bill might have prevented the Capital Gazette murders (when the shooter passed a NICS check), or accuse MD pro-2A groups for advocating rape on Twitter in a newspaper editorial as well as on Twitter by the leader of their national organization.Except that they don't care if we're a monolith, nor do they want a real conversation.
They aren't talking to us. They're talking to the general public. They want to portray us as racist/misogynist/gun nuts, so that the general public voter won't stop to listen to the CONTENT of our arguments.
"They're bad people and you should dislike them" is a much easier political angle than "They're actually incorrect".

Here is an example that I spotted on Twitter from someone that is actively involved in the MD MDA. How many falsehoods are in this characterization? I believe that this particular gentleman (whom we can call #2A Bro, lol) was in a section that they occupied and eventually left and there were plenty of other wearing WWNC shirts in a section on the other side, as well as in the halls unable to get a seat.

Fortunately, Deep Lurker, Knovotny, MigraineMan, and others were talking pics that night - so there's ample photographic evidence to counter this fake spin. But I was late in seeing this tweet, so we're unable to counter the bs in real time. One of our recently departed could have written that trash.

Lovin' it! Notice the pocket constitution in #2A Bro's right hand? That picture was taken Monday morning. #2A Bro was the only WWNC shirt in the Senate at that time. Everyone else was outside.

She posted at 12:19pm, so she had to know that there were other WWNC shirt wearers in the capital building and general vicinity.Ask me how I know? lol
