Eotech settles lawsuit

I just did my request earlier this week. I was told to put all my sights into one box and the $15 is all i get for shipping. Debating then if i should just send the sights without their plastic boxes.

That's what I was worried they might say. That's fine for 1 or 2 but not for several.

Received an email 4/1 stating they received mine and have authorized the refund. Having no paperwork, as it was a gift, I requested $449 - the current price from Optics Planet. They gave me an estimate of 3-4 weeks.

Damn. Seeing the approved refunds amount everyone has asked for and are getting I think I asked for too little. I asked for a refund of a depreciated value since my sights were from 2005. I should have asked for the full retail value. Oh well. I sent mine in mid-February. Still waiting for the refund.

What would concern me is what MDS member half-cocked noted months ago: that the USPS retains a snapshot of every single piece of mail going through its system. They can create a nice print out of one population of battle rifle owners in the US.

Woo-hoo! Received my refund checks for both my Eotech optics yesterday. Now to purchase their replacements!

The directions they sent me said DO NOT send the plastic case back. So now you also get a handy little case to keep.

I'm going with the meprolite m21b. I was very happy with the first one I have. Although if Eotech gets their thermal drift problem rectified, I will gladly switch back as those were my favorite optics.

I emailed them back and still have not received any reply. I'm honestly worried that I'll never get anything if I send it back. I think I'll just hang onto it and keep it out of the trunk.
