I'd like to get some legislators and possibly the governor to take a stand and not hide when we combat the asses in the general assembly. I noticed the governor showed up 2 days after 2A Tuesday to support hunters, but did not show up to support the Second Amendment. I think it is time we get some support for our efforts.

I noticed he showed up to support Christie. My patience is wearing VERY thin with Hogan. If he doesn't come out against these bills I'm officially done with him.

IMO, this is another test, thinking that they are catching us in a lull.

If you cannot show in person to testify, write your testimony and get in touch with your delegate or senator's office. They can submit it for you. Call your representatives and offer your support or opposition. Numbers are important!

OMalley pushed gun control and got all of .01% in Iowa. Hillary pushed gun control and lost big to Bernie in NH. Hillary is no longer talking guns. The VA governor was forced to cut a deal with 2A supporters and Everytown turned on him.

The gun banners may be coming back to Maryland for an "easy win".

I am pissed. Their useless legislation has done nothing to protect me, my family and the state. While we don't have full details of the incident in Abingdon, it just reinforces that no one is safe anywhere, yet the imbecile legislators keep pushing meaningless laws that they have no proof of the effectiveness of the laws and they refuse to pass legislation to keep criminals off the streets.

As we have witnessed today, we do not know how long any of us has. We have NO time to wait for the politically correct time to press the issue of criminal justice or self preservation and self protection. I have been one to promote patience and a "long game" approach, but no more. We need results and we need them now. If a thug's family can be awarded a $6.4 million settlement, before trials have even been decided, then we can get a small bone and be allowed to feel safe by being able to protect ourselves and by knowing that criminals will not be free to roam the streets.

This is not about Hogan, this is about the current bills announced today and showing up in Annapolis.

Among other things, they might want to "flush him out" so they can undercut his political popularity and use it against him. They could be baiting him with things like this that they know they can use as political fodder. He probably could do a lot more if he holds back on his fire until near the end of his term, when he'll know whether he's re-electable and able to do more during a second term. Or not.

Won't matter if there isn't enough opposition against. The MGA overturned 6 vetoes from the governor. Those bills didn't droves of people in Annapolis come out in opposition.

We need to show up en masse against this crap and in support of the bills that further self-defense and restoring the rights of Marylanders.

It depends.

The chatter gets monitored by both sides. Will Hogan see people who are willing to stand up for their own, or blaming him for not acting?

If you recall, the latter was the reason he reached out in the first place... he is well aware of how we can eat our own, and I'm pretty sure he's not willing to be on the menu.

The more we support our own purpose (rather than piss and moan that other stuff isn't being done on our behalf), the more aid we're likely to receive in the long run.
