I remember getting the Sears catalog when I was a kid and while everyone else flipped to the women's underwear section... I went straight for the guns.

My brother kept Playboy magazines under his mattress... I had 2 very old Guns and Ammo issues hidden under mine.

I have a couple of gun magazines from the year I was born that my Father kept for me. Sometimes I'll look at the ads in the back, and cry!

Go find some old issues (pre '68) of the NRA mag, American Rifleman and look at the ads on the inside of the back cover and the few pages before it.
